History
Jewelstone's is a small cageless
cattery located in Athens / Greece, since 1999. When we decided to work with Persian cats breeding, our goal was to create " extreme " type Persians, with extra sweet expression. To have that result, we decided to work with show cats only. We never use " breeder quality" cats, meaning cats with big faults, but with some other good points. Personality was our other goal, for that reason, we never breed a cat whose personality wasn't calm & sweet. Our Cats All our cats, have competed in Shows and most of them have been awarded with Best In Show award & Best Of The Best, or at least with Nomination. Every one of our cats, is another part of our family. Cattery Our cats live in our house and have their own room to be safe and free, when they cant be free in the house. Their room is full of toys and has a separate veranda, where they can watch the neighborhood, the birds and enjoy the Greek Sun.
Kittens Our kittens are raised like babies. Each one kitten is for us another child, with different personality, for which we must find the best home. We will never give away a kitten if we are not sure for the new home. We prefer to give a Top Show kitten to a Pet home, if we know it will receive the best attention, from another Show home. So, if you are going to inquire about a kitten, please do not forget to tell us some more things about you.
